Privacy Policy for PixelRanger

Introduction

Welcome to PixelRanger, developed by 7TH REALM LABS LLC.

PixelRanger is a local-first photo, video, measurement, calibration, and analysis application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and minimizing the amount of information that leaves your device.

This Privacy Policy explains how PixelRanger accesses, processes, stores, and shares information when you use the App.

By downloading, accessing, or using PixelRanger, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Access and Process

PixelRanger does not upload your photos, videos, measurements, camera profiles, analysis history, location records, or sensor readings to servers operated by 7TH REALM LABS LLC.

Depending on the features you use and the permissions you grant, PixelRanger may access and process the following information locally on your device.

1.1 Photos, Images, Screenshots, and Videos

PixelRanger may access photos, screenshots, images, and videos that you choose to import, capture, or analyze.

This media may be used for:

Distance, size, and spacing estimation;
Pixel measurement;
Camera calibration;
Image enhancement;
Video frame extraction;
Object tracking;
Motion and speed analysis;
Measurement history; and
Exported reports.

PixelRanger accesses only media that you select or capture through the App. It does not scan your media library for advertising, profiling, or unrelated purposes.

1.2 Camera Access

PixelRanger may request access to your device camera to capture photos or videos for measurement and analysis.

Camera access is optional. Supported features may also be used with imported photos, screenshots, or videos.

When available, PixelRanger may locally process camera information such as:

Camera or lens selection;
Lens direction;
Zoom level;
Exposure mode;
Image resolution;
Sensor orientation;
Focal length; and
Camera or lens metadata.
1.3 Location Access

PixelRanger may request approximate or precise location permission to record an optional location snapshot with a capture or measurement.

Location information may include:

Latitude;
Longitude;
Altitude;
Location accuracy; and
Heading.

Location access is optional.

PixelRanger does not request background location and does not continuously track your location. If permission is denied, the App can continue operating without location metadata.

1.4 Device Sensor Information

PixelRanger may read a brief local snapshot from supported device sensors, including:

Accelerometer;
Gyroscope; and
Magnetometer or compass.

These readings may be used to record measurement context such as pitch, roll, orientation, motion, or magnetic-field information.

Sensor information is not used for advertising, behavioral profiling, or cross-app tracking.

1.5 Photo and Video Metadata

Imported or captured media may contain metadata that PixelRanger can read and display, including:

Capture date and time;
Camera make and model;
Lens make and model;
ISO;
Focal length;
Image dimensions;
Video resolution;
Frame rate;
Duration;
Rotation;
HDR or color information; and
Location information embedded in the file.

This information is used only to support measurement, calibration, documentation, or analysis features.

1.6 Measurements, Profiles, History, and Settings

PixelRanger may locally create and store:

Camera calibration profiles;
Reference measurements;
Measurement inputs and calculated results;
Pixel selections, boxes, circles, and point-to-point lines;
Image coordinates and dimensions;
Distance, size, spacing, movement, and speed estimates;
Confidence indicators and measurement warnings;
Measurement conditions;
Video tracking data;
Extracted frames and trajectories;
App settings;
Subscription entitlement status;
Saved measurement history;
Saved video-analysis history; and
Reports or export files you create.
2. Optional Permissions

PixelRanger may request access to:

Camera: to capture photos or videos;
Photos, media, or files: to import or save selected media and exports;
Approximate or precise location: to attach optional location metadata to a capture or measurement; and
Device sensors: to record optional orientation and motion information.

Granting these permissions is optional.

You may deny or revoke permissions through your device settings. Some features may be unavailable when the related permission is disabled.

Revoking permission stops future access but does not automatically delete information already saved in PixelRanger history or previously exported files.

3. How We Use Information

PixelRanger processes information only to provide features requested by the user, including to:

Capture or import photos and videos;
Display and enhance images;
Extract and analyze video frames;
Measure image pixels;
Estimate distance, size, spacing, motion, and speed;
Create and manage camera calibration profiles;
Save measurement and analysis history;
Display optional capture metadata;
Generate reports and exports;
Share information at your direction;
Manage subscription access; and
Maintain App functionality, compatibility, and security.

PixelRanger does not use your information to:

Serve personalized advertising;
Build advertising profiles;
Sell personal information;
Track you across unrelated apps or websites; or
Train public artificial-intelligence models.
4. Local Data Storage

PixelRanger stores App information primarily within local application storage on your device.

Locally stored information may include:

Camera profiles;
Measurement records;
Video-analysis records;
Saved analysis images;
Settings;
Subscription entitlement status;
Temporary files;
Cached files; and
Generated exports.

Original photos and videos remain in their original locations unless you separately delete them.

Your operating system may include App information in a device or cloud backup if backups are enabled. Those backups are controlled by your device platform and account settings, not by 7TH REALM LABS LLC.

5. Data Sharing
5.1 User-Directed Sharing and Exporting

PixelRanger does not automatically share your measurement content with outside parties.

Information may leave the App when you choose to:

Export a report;
Copy information to the clipboard;
Save a file;
Share a file;
Open content in another application; or
Send content to another person or service.

Once information is transferred to another application, person, storage location, or service, that recipient’s privacy practices apply.

5.2 App Marketplaces and Payments

If you purchase or restore a PixelRanger subscription or in-app product, the transaction is processed by the applicable marketplace, such as Google Play or the Apple App Store.

PixelRanger may receive and locally store limited information needed to provide access, such as:

Product identifier;
Purchase status;
Restoration status;
Subscription entitlement level; and
Last-updated time.

7TH REALM LABS LLC does not receive or store your complete payment-card number, bank account information, or marketplace password.

5.3 Advertising and Analytics

PixelRanger currently does not contain:

Third-party advertising;
Behavioral advertising SDKs;
Third-party behavioral analytics;
Third-party crash-reporting services; or
Cross-app tracking technology.
6. Data Retention and Deletion

PixelRanger retains locally saved information until:

You delete an individual saved result or profile;
You clear measurement or analysis history;
You clear PixelRanger’s storage through device settings;
Temporary or cached files are replaced during normal operation; or
You uninstall the App.

Uninstalling PixelRanger generally deletes locally stored App data. However, copies may remain in device backups, exported files, shared destinations, or other applications.

Deleting PixelRanger history does not necessarily delete files that you previously exported or shared. Those copies must be deleted from the destination where they were saved.

Marketplace purchase records are controlled by Google, Apple, or the applicable marketplace.

Because PixelRanger does not maintain user accounts or upload App content to our servers, 7TH REALM LABS LLC generally cannot remotely retrieve, modify, or delete information stored only on your device.

7. Security Measures

PixelRanger is designed to reduce remote exposure by processing and storing App content locally whenever possible.

Local information is protected by the application sandbox, permissions, access controls, encryption settings, screen locks, and other security features provided by your device and operating system.

No storage method is completely secure. Users should:

Keep their operating system updated;
Use a secure screen lock;
Protect access to their device;
Review App permissions; and
Share or export information only to trusted destinations.
8. Your Rights and Control

You may:

Choose which photos and videos to import;
Decline camera, media, location, or sensor permissions;
Revoke permissions through device settings;
Edit or delete supported saved measurements and profiles;
Clear App history;
Delete exported files from their saved locations;
Clear PixelRanger’s local storage; and
Uninstall the App.
9. Children’s Privacy

PixelRanger is a general-purpose measurement and analysis utility and is not designed or directed primarily to children under 13.

7TH REALM LABS LLC does not knowingly collect personal information from children through PixelRanger-operated servers because the App does not currently upload user content to such servers.

Parents and guardians should supervise children’s use of camera, location, sharing, and purchasing features and should use available device and marketplace parental controls.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy if PixelRanger’s features, legal requirements, platform requirements, or privacy practices change.

The revised policy will display an updated effective date or last-updated date. Material changes may also be communicated through the App, the applicable app marketplace, or our website.

Please review this Privacy Policy periodically for updates.
